Our Family Day was held on Sunday 31st January which began with a service at 9:00am recapping the history of the church from “Ichabod to Ebenezer.”
The service closed with a time of thanksgiving and celebration, culminating in a 1000 balloon release into the atmosphere.
The day continued with fun, fellowship, games and activities which included pony rides, rock climbing, waterslides, air hockey, table tennis, bouncy castle, treasure hunt and board games.
A variety of food was served, representing culinary dishes from India, Cuba, Mexico, Africa and of course our diverse Trinidadian cuisine.
Free snacks were also provided during the day including coconuts, corn soup, doubles, bake and shark, snow cones, ice cream and cotton candy.
We gathered together for our evening service at 5:00pm with special prayer and dedication of the Acropolis Medical Centre by members of the National Board.
This family day was thoroughly enjoyed by all, leaving everyone eagerly anticipating a repeat next year.
